Gator Cases Commitment to the Environment

Gator Cases Inc. prides itself on being a responsible member of the business community, and we convey to our employees the significance of leaving the environment better than we found it. The company as a whole adheres to the following practices:
  • Reduce Energy Consumption – We turn off PCs at the end of the day, and make sure to activate the sleep settings on monitors and PCs. These simple acts alone can save up to $75 per computer in annual power costs and reduce our energy consumption.
  • Reduce e-Waste – Computer equipment is loaded with toxic metals and organic chemicals that contaminate soil, water, and air. Gator participates in a recycling program with all our electronics partners and buys Energy Star certified machines when possible.
  • Reduce Paper Waste – Paper makes up 35% of consumer waste, even though it’s one of the easiest materials to recycle. Gator is enrolled in a paper recycling program and buys recycled paper products. We also print as infrequently as possible, create digital documents and use double-sided copies and send invoices via email when acceptable.
  • Reduce Emissions –We perform training, sales presentations, project collaboration, and other group activities by using teleconference technology whenever possible, which reduces travel time and expenses as well as greenhouse gas emissions.
